The onslaught of skyrocketing fuel cost can drive us crazy. As of the posting of this blog, the price of a galloon of gas is $4. It could go up in the coming days. It seems that an increasing fuel cost will hunt us until death.

Who will help us in this valley of tears? Will oil companies reduce fuel price for the sake of the billions of people who can hardly buy a decent meal in a day? Can our politicians stop oil companies from hijacking the oil cost?

So we beg – online stores, spare us from expensive gasoline.

Reflecting on horrible fuel price, it appears that the world needs more online stores. Ecommerce can somehow salvage us from sinking into total despair over oil cost.

I was thinking lately that if more people would buy their goods from online stores, there is no need to drive your car to buy something at stores such as 7-Eleven, Tesco, or Family Mart.

An increased online purchase will spare us from buying expensive gasoline just to go to a place to buy what we need. We know that the Internet has saved millions of trees from being cut and milled to produce a bunch of papers.

Can ecommerce websites help us cut down oil consumption? Let me know what you think about this issue.
