Godaddy, despite its enormous popularity being the only digital company advertising in Superbowl, is a true advertising-savvy business firm. I was browsing Overstock.com website lately and there it was Godaddy’s rectangular banner following me every time I flipped an Overstock webpage.
So I won’t be surprised if one day Godaddy would also advertise in Amazon.com’s homepage, which gets millions of hits everyday. Amazon offers advertising space in its site and only cash-rich companies can afford to put an ad placement in its site.
Overstock is also a popular website but not as famous as Amazon who captures a big pie of the ecommerce revenues.
On the other hand, I find it annoying that Overstock does not accept non-US based Paypal. My Paypal is a verified account, but it is not registered in the U.S.
Kudos to Godaddy.com, a domain registrar and webhosting company at the same time, for placing so much value in the uninterrupted advertising campaign.
